The Round Rock High School Co-Op (the “Co-Op”) is a student-run business operating under the supervision of Round Rock High School (RRHS) and the Round Rock Independent School District (RRISD). We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and visitors. - Usage Data: IP address, browser type, and data about your browsing behavior on our site (collected via third-party providers like website hosting/analytics). This helps the student team analyze sales trends and improve site design/marketing strategies as part of the curriculum.
2. Use and Educational Purpose
The Co-Op uses the collected information for the dual purpose of legitimate business operations and the Career and Technical Education (CTE) curriculum:
- Fulfillment: To complete and manage all aspects of your transaction, from purchase to delivery.
- Safety and Risk: To screen orders for potential fraud or security risks.
- Learning & Analysis: To provide authentic business data for the student Co-Op team to use in financial reporting, inventory management, and marketing strategy development. This data is reviewed under faculty supervision.
3. Sharing of Personal Information
The Co-Op is committed to data minimization and does not sell or rent your personal information. We share your Personal Information only with the following entities:
- Service Providers: We share necessary information with third parties who help us operate and deliver services, such as:
- Payment Gateways (to process transactions securely).
- Shipping Carriers (to arrange for and track the delivery of your order).
- Website Analytics (to track site performance and usage).
- Round Rock Independent School District (RRISD): We may share aggregated or anonymized data, or specific personal data as required by RRISD policy, for educational auditing, or for legal compliance.
- Legal Compliance: We will disclose Personal Information if required to do so by law, such as in response to a subpoena, search warrant, or other legal process.
