RRHS Co-Op: Shipping & Payment Information
Welcome to the Round Rock High School Co-Op, a student-run business dedicated to providing authentic learning experiences! Please review our policies regarding shipping and payment.
A. Shipping and Order Fulfillment Policy
As a student-operated school store, our primary focus is on efficient, low-cost fulfillment for the RRHS community.
1. Local Shipping & Fulfillment Options
- In-Store Pick-Up (Recommended):
- Availability: Available to all customers.
- Cost: FREE. Orders are ready for pick-up during school operating hours at the Co-Op store location. You will receive an email notification when your order is ready.
- In-School Delivery:
- Availability: Available to current RRHS Students and Staff ONLY.
- Cost: FREE. Students/staff must provide their name, ID number, and their designated school mailbox or homeroom during checkout. Orders are delivered to the recipient’s on-campus location during a designated weekly delivery day.
- External Shipping (U.S. Only):
- Availability: Available for parents, alumni, and non-local customers.
- Cost: Calculated at Checkout based on weight and destination. We use standard carriers (e.g., USPS, UPS). International shipping is currently NOT supported.
2. Order Processing and Delivery Times
- Processing Time: Orders are processed by the student team, under faculty supervision, within 3-5 school days (Monday – Friday, excluding school holidays). Processing time does not include delivery time.
- Delivery/Pick-Up Notification: You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been fulfilled and is ready for pick-up or delivery.
- External Delivery: Once shipped, delivery times depend on the carrier, typically taking an additional 3–7 business days.
3. Returns, Exchanges, Damages, and Lost Packages
- Returns & Exchanges: Due to the Co-Op’s student training focus and limited inventory, we can only accept returns or exchanges for items that are defective or damaged upon receipt. Items must be returned within 10 school days of receiving the order. Contact us immediately to initiate a process.
- Damages and Lost Packages (External Shipping): If a package is lost or damaged during transit, please contact us. While the student team will assist with filing a claim with the shipping carrier, the Co-Op cannot guarantee reimbursement for issues caused by the carrier.
B. Payment Operations and Requirements
To ensure security, accurate accounting, and to maintain consistency for the student learning experience, the RRHS Co-Op operates on a cashless basis.
1. Supported Payment Options
We currently accept the following payment methods for all online orders:
- Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express)
- Debit Cards
- Approved Online Payment Platforms (such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal, if available on our site)
2. Payment Requirements and Instructions
- NO CASH ACCEPTED: Please note that we do not accept cash for any online purchases, and we cannot accept cash for in-store pick-up orders.
- Security: All financial transactions are processed securely through a PCI-compliant third-party payment gateway. The student Co-Op team never has direct access to or stores your full payment card details.
- Sales Tax: All orders will be charged applicable state and local sales tax as required by law.
